Red Nose Day – Friday 24th March
Next Friday 24th March we will be supporting Comic Relief. Children can come to school wearing something red in exchange for a small donation. Thank you to everyone who bought a red nose, we have now sold out but we have raised £120.00 for Comic Relief. Red Noses can be still be purchased from Sainsburys.
Year 2 Parents – SATs Information Evening
On Monday 20th March at 6.00pm the Year 2 teachers are holding a SATs Information Evening. The teachers will explain the tasks that the children are expected to do and ways in which you can help them. If you are able to come along please return your slip from the letter sent out earlier this week. If you need a copy of the letter please see our Parents Page or collect one from the school office.
A small group of parents have kindly got together to put on a fundraising film night for the children. The date is next Thursday 23rd March. Tickets cost £2.50 each which will include entry, a snack and a drink. Make sure you buy your ticket before Thursday.

School meals for week commencing Monday 27th March need to be ordered on Monday 20th March. This will be menu 3. Menus can be viewed on the school website. Please bring your order form to the school office from 8.30am on Monday 20th March if you have not already done so.
After half term the menus are changing. We have sent home a copy of the menus and an order form for the next half term. Please complete your order form and return it to the school office as soon as possible.
We will be holding an Easter Egg Raffle and a Name the Rabbit competition. Tickets will be on sale outside school each morning next week at 8.45am. The prizes will be drawn in assembly on Friday 31st March.
On the last day of term (Friday 31st March) we are holding a “Mad March Hair” day in school. Children can come to school with ‘Mad Hair’ in exchange for a small donation. There will be a prize for the most inventive hair. Children should wear school uniform on this day.
This week Mrs Jean Beeson attended Parents' Evening at the Infant School and was delighted to see so many parents attending.
